What is included in our Donor adventures?
Included
- A unique way of traveling with your eyes and your heart
- Welcome Kit including Safari maps
- Airport transfers for base Safari*
- Double accommodation at all Safari Lodges & Camps
- Meals as indicated for each lodge, typically three per day
- Expert Safari Guides, vehicle drivers, and service staff
- Private transportation in customized 4×4 Safari vehicles
- All game drives and activities as outlined in your itinerary
- Water during game drives (please bring a light-weight water bottle)
- Wildlife reserve permits and park concession fees**
- All Safari lodge/VAT tourist taxes (see gratuities below)
- Dayroom on last day to prepare for international departure
*Excludes transfers for optional add-on experiences. ** Game reserves and wildlife protection areas are called ‘parks’ in Africa. Park permits are a large percentage of the cost of a Safari and are subject to change. Although uncommon, guests are responsible for any unforeseeable increase in park fees.

- Comprehensive Travel Protection Plan (required by all guests)
- Fees for passports, visas and/or immunizations (see below)
- US and foreign airport departure taxes (see below)
- Personal expenses like spa treatments, laundry, phone, etc.
- Beverages at lodges including purified water, soft drinks, and cocktails. Note most lodges include breakfast juices, coffee & tea. Lodges vary slightly, yet prices are typically less than US (under $5 for beer, under $10 for wine & cocktails)
- Gratuities for Safari guides & lodge staff (see ‘Pre Departure Info’)
- Optional Balloon Ride over the Serengeti
- Optional charter flights
NOTE: Passports must be valid 6 months AFTER your departure from Tanzania. The NEW East Africa Tourist Visa is valid for tourism and leisure purposes in Tanzania/Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda– or to visit family or friends. Visit https://www.immigration.go.ug/services/east-african-tourist-visa for more information.Travelers should be up-to-date on routine vaccines before any trip and most of you have these already. Not all immunizations that are recommended by the CDC are necessary for East Africa travel. Best to check with your doctor or Travel Clinic at least 90 days prior to travel to see what is required.
